As a boutique building company, Jamie is personally involved in all construction projects undertaken by Challis Builders.


Charlie Betts
Construction Manager

Charlie is a qualified carpenter and joiner with many years of trade experience including bespoke renovations and new dwellings. Having previously been employed for several years as a supervisor and project manager for large construction companies, Charlie has extensive knowledge of differing construction techniques and styles, and a keen eye for detail. Charlie is responsible for overseeing the construction and programming of all building projects, including the coordination of trades to ensure your project is built to exacting standards on time and on budget.


Karen Flynn
Project Coordinator

Following a career in the building industry with a large construction company spanning more than 22 years, Karen is very experienced in all facets of the building process from scheduling to administration. Karen knows what is required to complete a successful building project, and understands the value of exceptional customer service. Karen is responsible for pricing, scheduling, ordering and contract administration ensuring your building project runs smoothly from start to finish.


Rachel Meers
Project Administrator

Rachel has a Certificate in Architectural Drafting and a Diploma of Interior Design, and has worked in the building industry for more than 20 years. Having built and renovated several homes in her own right, Rachel is passionate about design and loves to help others complete a successful project. Rachel is responsible for the administration of all building projects from the initial design brief to the final finishes and selections and arranging the relevant building approvals. Rachel takes care of the many administrative tasks required to ensure your project is a success.  


Lex Johnson
Project Accountant

Lex is a qualified Accountant with more than seven years of small business accounting experience. She has a Bachelor of Business Degree, majoring in Accounting and Public Practice, and is soon to become a Certified Practising Accountant. Lex is responsible for the day to day accounting functions of the business, including budgeting and cost control, ensuring the budget for your project is professionally managed for the duration of the build.
